Dr. Jekeva Moss, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong background in both clinical care and leadership. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Master of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Florida. Dr. Moss began her healthcare career while serving in the U.S. Army, where she worked in dental and oral surgery before transitioning into nursing. While serving she built a strong foundation by working across several medical specialties as a registered nurse. After completing her military service, she went on to work as a school nurse and inpatient psychiatric nurse before beginning her graduate studies. Dr. Moss brings over 7 years of experience from her work at UF Health Psychiatry Jacksonville where she was known for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care with strong clinical expertise.

Passionate about reducing stigma and expanding access to care, Dr. Moss has led multidisciplinary teams, mentored clinicians, and developed initiatives that support mental health education, including her award-winning doctoral project on faith-based approaches in the Black community. She remains active in professional organizations and combines her clinical work with community service through her church health ministry, speaking engagements on emotional wellness, and providing mental health care for individuals experiencing homelessness. Through evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic support, Dr. Moss is dedicated to improving mental health outcomes and promoting whole person wellness across diverse communities.
