We are currently offering in person, phone, and telehealth services.

In-office services are limited and determined by the provider due to ongoing COVID-19 Public Health Safety precautions.

Services:

Initial Evaluation

Your first appointment at Winings Wellness is a 60 minute visit. Prior to this appointment you will receive an invitation to the patient portal. We ask that you create your account for completion of forms and initial patient paperwork electronically. For adults, please come to the appointment prepared to discuss your questions, treatment goals, and or concerns with your provider. For children and adolescents, we ask that both parents come to the initial visit to meet our team, your provider, and provide history and context for your child’s treatment plan. For children under the age of 10 years old, a parent only initial visit will be scheduled. The child will attend the first follow up appointment. We encourage parents to communicate clearly with their provider if there are sensitive issues that need to be discussed without your child/adolescent present.

We value your time and seek to provide high quality evidence based mental health care. Following your initial visit, your provider will communicate initial diagnostic impressions and propose a follow up plan. Follow up medication management visits range from 30 minutes to 45 minutes. Therapy visits range from 45 minutes to 60 minutes.

Follow Up Medication Management Visits

If medication is prescribed, your visits will be considered medication management follow up visits and coded accordingly with CPT Evaluation Management codes for billing reimbursement if you choose to submit to your insurance company for out of network reimbursement. Follow up medication management visits are typically 30 minutes and scheduled every 1, 2, or 3 months. Please discuss any medication or symptom questions with your provider at your follow up visits. We also ask that you confirm your preferred pharmacy at each follow up visit and request refills during your scheduled appointment time.

Follow Up Therapy Visits

When engaged in a psychotherapy treatment plan, your appointments are scheduled for 45 minutes or 60 minutes depending on the type of therapy, treatment plan, and therapy goals. These visits are coded with the correct CPT Psychotherapy billing codes for reimbursement at out of network rates if you choose to submit to your insurance company.

Combination Medication Management and Therapy visit at Winings Wellness

At times a treatment plan includes medication management and therapy. Scheduling will reflect the services rendered and visits are typically 45 minutes or 60 minutes. Your visits would be coded accordingly for CPT Evaluation Management and Psychotherapy billing codes for reimbursement at out of network rates if you choose to submit to your insurance company.

Parent Support and Counseling

Parenting doesn’t come with a guide book. At Winings Wellness we value the individual approach parenting takes for each child. We work with parents using a strength based approach for optimizing your current parenting approaches and explore possible new ways to achieve optimal parent child communication and decrease stress in the parenting relationship and/or the parent child relationship.

Treatment with another provider outside of Winings Wellness

We are happy to partner with you and other health care providers that may be a part of you or your child’s treatment team. It is your responsibility to complete consent forms and signa release of information with Winings Wellness for communication with parties outside of this organization. We respect your privacy and will not communicate with others without your written permission.

Payment Information

Winings Wellness is out of network for all insurance providers. No insurance is accepted and no insurance claims are processed. Payment is due at the time of service. All visits will be coded with correct information for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement at out of network rates. You can also use an HSA or FSA card to cover the cost of medical services provided. We are happy to discuss this process with you further and encourage you to contact your insurance company to learn more about submitting claims for reimbursement. Monthly payment plans can also be discussed.
