Erin Smith is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She completed both her undergraduate and graduate nursing studies at Jacksonville University. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Florida State University.

After becoming a travel nurse to provide crisis care throughout intensive care units during the COVID pandemic, Erin decided to further her studies in psychiatric mental health to help patients in an area she saw a great need in and witnessed that need growing during the pandemic. Erin believes she has always been able to better the mental health of those around her and wanted to enhance her knowledge and skills of doing so with an evidence-based, professional standard of care. Her favorite part of work is connecting with her patients and their family members.

Erin values meeting her patients and their families where they’re at in their mental health journey and recognizes the importance of individualized care. She believes in holistic care and appreciates how every aspect of our daily living affects our mental health and overall wellbeing. Erin’s passion includes providing guidance and support within the children, adolescent, and young adult populations as they figure out their own life path and reach their full potential.
