Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Erin Smith is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She completed both her undergraduate and graduate nursing studies at Jacksonville University. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Florida State University.
After providing crisis care throughout intensive care units during the COVID pandemic, Erin was inspired to pursue advanced studies in psychiatric mental health. During that time, she recognized a significant and growing need for mental health support and felt called to help patients in this critical area.
Erin has always felt a natural ability to support and improve the mental well-being of those around her. She chose to advance her knowledge and skills to provide that support through an evidence-based, professional standard of care. Her favorite part of her work is building meaningful connections with her patients and their families.
Erin values meeting her patients and their families where they are in their mental health journey, recognizing the importance of individualized, person-centered care. She embraces a holistic approach, understanding that every aspect of daily life influences mental health and overall well-being.
