Christina Sigmon
Psychiatric Physician Assistant
Christie Sigmon, PA-C, CAQ-Psych is a board-certified psychiatric physician assistant with prior experience working in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. Prior to private practice, she gained years of experience at both Mayo Clinic, Rochester while working on the inpatient psychiatric units, and UF Health, Jacksonville, as an outpatient psychiatric provider. At both teaching hospitals, Christie received direct supervision, collaboration, mentorship and advanced continuing education. This high-level academic training provided growth and specialization not always accessible to many psychiatric NPs and PAs in standard clinic settings. This foundation deepened both her diagnostic insight and therapeutic approach, allowing Christie to offer informed, patient-centered care across a wide range of mental health conditions.
Christie is intentional about connecting patients and families to meaningful resources beyond her direct care. This may include referrals to educational advocates, guidance on navigating Step Up for Students funding, local homeschooling co-ops, social skills and DBT groups, support networks, and other community-based programs that align with each patient’s unique goals and circumstances.
Christie’s goal is not just to treat mental health conditions—but to be a supportive partner in each patient’s journey toward greater stability, growth, and quality of life.
